Food Huggers - Autumn Harvest Collection
I don’t know about you, but I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. A LOT. I always have. Now that I've adopted a plant-based diet, I’m eating even more. And since I usually cook for only myself, I almost always have halves of several different vegetables that need to be stored at any given time. Food Huggers to the rescue! These things work great and are ridiculously easy to clean since they’re made of silicone and nothing sticks to them. They’re dishwasher safe, although personally I’d rather just wash them and put them away since it’s so easy. They’re well-made, come in fun colors, and seriously cut down on both single-use plastics and food waste. Less food waste means less methane gas warming our fragile atmosphere, and Good Bumblebee supports that 100%!
Vegan Rob's - Probiotic Cauliflower Puffs
Not too hard, not too soft - perfectly crunchy! I love the Cauliflower Puffs the best. They have a unique addicting flavor that I have a hard time putting down once I've started on the bag. No guilt here, however! I also love that they don't taste too salty and don't at all resemble a "health snack," but I'm also getting great probiotics and other nutrients.
All Good - Goop
The colder seasons are upon us! I absolutely love cold weather. But for me at least, that means dry, chapped, cracked hands. I used to keep lotion with me at all times through fall and winter, repeatedly applying every 30 minutes to an hour. Then I discovered All Good Goop. I apply it in the morning and when I go to bed. That’s it! My hands stay smooth and hydrated without feeling greasy all day. I can wash my hands throughout the day and not feel the need to add another layer of moisturizer.
The ingredients list is actually beautiful. Nothing in there to make you cringe at all! Totally natural and extremely soothing. It’s also good for minor scrapes and burns, rashes, bug bites, all kinds of other stuff. This healing balm is like magic. Trust me. And now $1 from every All Good Goop sold until they reach their goal will go towards the Rainforest Trust’s Conservation Action Fund, which will safeguard 500 acres of rainforest land. So go ahead. Slather it on! And know that you’re putting good stuff on your skin and supporting the rainforest.
Snack Jack - Crack Pepper Plant-based Jerky
I enjoy all the Snack Jack flavors, but my favorite is the cracked pepper, hands down. One of the really fun things about Snack Jack Jerky is you can actually cook with it too! A while back, I made a vegan garlicky broccoli “beef” using the cracked pepper jerky and served it over brown rice, and it was delicious! Surprisingly, it actually browns like real meat too! Sometimes I don’t want one of the fake meats for my recipes and would rather go with something more wholesome and less processed. This stuff fits the bill!
More recently, I made vegan “beef stroganoff” using the cracked pepper jerky, eggless noodles, vegan sour cream, and strips of portobello mushroom. This actually turned out to be one of my favorite vegan adaptations of a hearty, comforting classic dish, and the jerky added just the right amount of spice. I’m sure to make this meal several more times through the fall and winter!!
ToGo Ware - RePEaT Utensil Set (Mulberry)
I've had my reusable bamboo utensils for a few years now, and they've held up amazingly well! They're lightweight and easy to throw in, or clip to, a bag (or backback). The cases come in vibrant colors, and the utensils themselves are well-oiled bamboo, so they wipe down easily when you're at a restaurant and are ready to put them back away. The set goes nicely with my reusable water bottle and, when eating out at places that use disposable, single-use plastic, I can feel better about not contributing to the plastic problem in that way. So easy!
Barnana - Acapulco Lime Plantain Chips
The Acapulco Lime Plantain Chips are my new go-to chip! They're delicious right out of the bag - super crunchy with plenty of excellent lime flavor - but I once ate the whole bag by myself with some fresh, chunky guacamole for dinner (maybe more than once). They're quite versatile and also go well with black bean dip, mango salsa, and pico. Email me and let me know what you pair them with! (email@example.com)
Kosmatology - Lotion Bar Goody Goody Grapefruit
I love all things citrus, and when I put this on straight out of a bath or shower, it immediately sets the mood for the day with all the invigorating benefits of citrus oils!
Grow Fragrance - Bamboo
Light, clean, crisp! While I enjoy all the Grow Fragrance sprays, this one is just perfect for summer. Not perfume-like at all. Just pleasant and uplifting!
Freegirl - Energetic Reparative Eye Cream
I use this stuff daily. It's absolutely my go-to eye cream. It takes just the TINIEST bit of this cooling cream to apply to both eyes, and I've seen a noticeable difference in fine lines.
Peaceful Fruits - Mango
Yum! I love all things mango, and this is no exception. The ingredients are literally 2 apple slices, 1 pear slice, HALF a mango, and lemon juice. That's it! I take it with me on hikes, and it goes nicely with my salted nuts for a quick boost of energy on the trail. Bonus: it takes up virtually no space in my pack.
Sea Witch Botanicals - Green Fairy Incense
I love the anise aroma this incense emits without a heavy chemical smell. These all-natural incense sticks are the cleanest burning I've found anywhere. And this particular fragrance makes me want to pour a small glass of absinthe and relax in the tub. (I might have actually done this once or twice.)
Beerded Organics - Recharge Toner
Using the Recharge Toner after I wash my face is like creating a clean palette for my moisturizer. It's the balance my skin needs between the cleanser and lotion!
Try any of these and you'll love them!
